Fantastic Trip Especially for Us 18+ by Rozalie B
Need to book in advance but the tour is free. Delightful lady showed us round. She was very accommodating and showed us the works with the right amount of facts that it wasn’t overbearing for those of us that knew nothing but also a decent knowledge for those who did know their stuff. The sampling after was generous and we left with a very nice bottle of whisky. However we were not pressured at all and could have easily walked out and gone. The whisky was really something special, even those of us who weren’t into it could tell. They also had some gorgeous apple juice for those of us underage/ T total. If in the area definitely worth a visit.
Well Conducted, Pleasant and Infirmative Visits by 34210king
We had no pre-booking. But were made very welcome. There were very, very few people on the tour. It was the time of day / year and weather.Interesting history. A good desxcription of process and policies. AN explanation of an eco approach to distiling. WE bought quite a number of the examples of the variety of expressions of this distillery. One expression (bottle) not on sale elsewhere.Very good for collectors.Worth a little visit.
Charming Young Woman Introduced Us to the History and Delights of Breton Whisky by FayAbroad
As a Scot, one is always wary of visiting whisky distilleries in other countries, having been to a number of Scottish distilleries. I need not have worried. This charming, artisan distiller was well worth a visit. The information given was clear and concise and samples were generously given without feeling the pressure to buy. Although we did. As a non-whisky drinker (I know, I know, I was offered delicious, organic apple juice.
