Rosebank

Rosebank is one of the most legendary closed distilleries in Scotland. The Lowland distillery is now only available in rare collectibles. “Its whisky, at its peak (not too woody!) Roseisle

Diagio’s Deathstar distillery! On 11 October 2010, Diageo opened the doors of its new £40 million Roseisle distillery for the first time. As Scotland’s first new major whisky distillery for 30 years, an almost carbon neutral behemoth with features such as a £14m biomass plant, and closed loop condensers to reduce water waste Roseisle is a blueprint for the distilleries of the future, alas it’s also been greeted with more than a little concern.

Royal Lochnagar

The Royal Lochnagar Distillery is located in the Eastern Highlands, on the valley of the Dee and river of the same name. The distillery is named after the nearby Lochnagar mountain. Royal Oak

Royal Oak distillery began its life as Walsh whisky distillery in 2013 with Italian drinks company Illva Saronno making a major investment to help fund the €25 million ($34.1 million USD) construction of the Walsh Whiskey Company’s distillery near Carlow, Ireland. Walsh whisky distillery was renamed Royal Oak distillery in 2019 when Illva Saronno took full ownership of the distillery. The previous brands of the Walsh family: Writers Tears and The Irishman Whiskey are still being produced in Midleton.
