Had lunch and a tour of the distillery Can recommend both Food and service at the bistro was excellent And what our guide around the distillery didn’t know about whiskey gin and vodka wasn’t worth knowing

we did the distillery and tasting tour and the the alpacas meeting. Both were great and good value, sarah the lady who took us on the distillery tour was a mine of information and very friendly and informative. At the end in the beautiful shop in a private glassed room you get to taste whisky, gin and vodka.The meet the alapacas was good too but obviously outside so wouldnt have been great in heavy rain which luckily we just missed.The on site bistro is lovely and we had a lovely toasted sandwich with local produce which was delicious. A great way to spend a few hours.

Great Tour and Food by Cabinator

Had a great morning touring The Lakes Distillery, guide was very friendly and knowledgeable, learnt lots about the origins of the distillery and the process of production. The Distillery was very well kept and very clean. Nice to go down and see the Alpacas and the river Derwent whilst waiting for our tour. Had lunch in the Bistro after tour, very good service, food was lovely. All in all a very enjoyable visit, would highly recommend.
