Sazerac Top Shelf Distillery Tour Experience! by Kathryn G

WOW - what an amazing place - 3 story facility with interpreters/guides/associates along the way to enhance your self guided tour experience. They change the free tastings every couple months so this is now on our must visit place every time we come to NOLA

Best Introduction to Drinking in NOLA by Maltacanadausa

Hands down the best thing we have done in NOLA. All the staff (tour guides- were amazing and knowledgeable) the building is beautiful and exhibits and interactive and safe. This needs to be on every adult tourist must see list.

Highly Interactive With Free Samples! by Robert L

This was an excellent, semi-guided tour of the Sazerac House. A once famous landmark going back 150 years with a storied history, the current incarnation is a museum with a working distillation column producing some of the Sazerac products. They did a fantastic job with interactive displays and helpful and knowledgeable staff explaining the alcohol traditions of New Orleans, the origins of colorful characters that made the area famous, and the Sazerac company and its line of products (which is extensive). It's an impressive place with a lot of interesting information. The interactive displays were great! While you can do the whole tour in under an hour...take your time! Watch the movies, touch the interactive displays and talk to staff. You can get samples of various cocktails, one on each of the three floors and there's a gift shop with a ton of different merchandise and alcohol. You have to see the three story wall of bourbon to believe it. By the way, as of July 2021, they still require masks inside unless you can show proof of your vaccine status.
