Highest Quality Vodka, Gin, Absinthe and More Free Tasting and Distillery Tour by 8Peter
"Must visit" for vodka, gin, and flavoured alcohol aficionados. A small, low-key tasting room in an industrial building almost in Mount Currie. But Tyler, one of the owners, is extremely knowledgeable yet low key with a Masters degree in distilling, including one year "at school" in Scotland. He will explain, in as much detail as you want, all the ingredients that create the fantastic flavours of his company's numerous products. My wife loved the gin, I fell in love with the absinthe, the cacao flavoured liqueur was delicious. We were offered more products, but left ready to go to the Legacy Liquor store in Vancouver, where most of their products are sold.
Very Educational by Brendabeachbum
I told my teens if they drink, and I’m not encouraging them, they should be educated about the process of distillation to bottling. The proprietor was very knowledgeable and offered much information about potato growth in Pemberton Valley, and the process to create beverages such as vodka, gin, and absinthe. I had no idea that the outside temperatures affect the outcome. My teens found the talk and process a tad dry, but were to shy to ask questions. Next time I sip vodka I certainly will appreciate the science involved to create a smooth taste for my palate. We left with souvenirs in hand to share and enjoy!
Nice Visit! by Fleur A
On our way from Clearwater to Whistler we stopped to have a tour. Unfortunately they only do tours by appointment, but a quick look to the destillery was also very interesting! We tried the gin and vodka, both were really nice. It's definitely worth to give this place a visit!
