Black Velvet

Black Velvet is one of the most popular Canadian whisky varieties in America. On the prairie on the edge of the Rocky Mountains in Lethbridge, Alberta is the new (1973) and old (1932) distillery Black Velvet, also known as Palliser or Lethbridge Distillery. The new distillery was built in 1975 by the UDV. Black Velvet is known for their sweet and very mild whisky. The Taste: For the Black Velvet Canadian Whiskey, the Toronto distillery uses hand-picked rye, corn and crystal-clear Canadian mountain spring water.

Brora

At least until the reopening of Clynelish’s legendary neighbour distillery in the northern Highlands, Brora will remain one of the most sought-after collectors of whiskies worldwide. The closed distillery produced once oily, smoky and very maritime malt whisky. Only a handful of this distillery’s outturn exists today and are correspondingly priced. Brora Whisky Directly next to each other you will find the distilleries Clynelish and Brora. Clynelish and Brora are sister distilleries and share a common history.

Bunnahabhain

Bunnahabhain is a fantastic, maritime single malt whisky from the island of Islay. Unlike most Islay whiskies, the standards of the distillery are unpeated and therefore do not show the hard-smoky flavors of the island’s neighbors. Bunnahabhain has introduced peated variants. Bunnahabhain Whisky Bunnahabhain is an extraordinary Islay distillery. The distillery is located in a lonely bay in the north of Islay. It is only about a narrow, almost seven miles long road to reach, especially for trucks an adventure again and again.

Cameronbridge

Cameronbridge Whisky The Cameronbridge distillery primarily produces grain whisky for the blending industry however single grain Scotch whisky like Cameron Brig and the David Beckham partnered Haig Club are distilled there as well. The distillery was founded near the town of Windygates in the Scottish Lowlands as early as 1824 making it the oldest grain whisky distillery in Scotland. Craigellachie
