Cadee

Cadée Distillery was founded in 2013 on Whidbey Island by Colin Campbell, a Scotsman. Despite this the distillery is primarily releasing bourbon and rye whiskies as well as a line of other spirits and liquers. The distillery was established in 2015 after a flexible Indiegogo campaign. Its name Cadée, means “pure” in Gaelic. How Is Cadée Produced? Colin Campbell calls his spirits quasi-sourced in that he got the raw distillate for the first batches from “different partners throughout the US,” before being brought to Whidbey for aging.

Caledonian

The Caledonian grain distillery was one of the largest distilleries in Scotland at the beginning of the 20th century, it closed its doors forever in 1988. The distillery name Caledonia is also the Latin name for Scotland, the Caledonia distillery was more commonly called The Cally. It should not be confused with the nearby Caledonian Brewery or the former whiskey distillery of the same name, which existed in Campbeltown from 1823-1851.

Call Family Distillers

Call Family Distillers is a legal moonshine distillery in Wilkesboro, North Carolina. The distillery use a custom designed 2100 gallon direct steam injection still called the “The Bull”.

Cambus

The Cambus distillery is currently owned by the Diageo group, which closed it in 1993 as part of restructuring measures. In its early years, Cambus produced malt whiskey, but from 1836 onwards, grain whiskey was produced. Cambus whiskey is characterized by a light and grainy character and, as a grain whiskey, is usually cheaper than single malts of comparable age. Caol Ila

The Caol Ila Distillery was for many years the insider tip for those looking for a great priced and delicious whisky from the Scottish island of Islay. It is located in the northeastern part of the island on the strait to the island of Jura. From there you have a wonderful view of the legendary Sound of Islay and the Paps on the island of Jura. The Caol Ila distillery is not as popular as many others in Scotland but it’s one with a large fanbase.
