Lark distillery
One of Tasmania’s finest distilleries is right in the heart of Hobart. The Lark Distillery was founded in 1992 after the owner realized that Tasmania had all the ingredients for a wonderful malt whisky that nobody seemed to be producing. Lark has developed into one of the leading distillers in the country and produces premium spirits using tried and tested methods. Over 150 malt whiskies are offered in the tasting room.

An Exquisite Experience From a Boutique Whisky Maker

Went to the Cellar door as part of a whisky tour. The location was brilliant. The decore was very eclectic but stylish. The service was great. I thoroughly enjoyed the whisky, but as we didn’t get much time I missed buying anything there. But that’s not the end of this tale. Enter the Kiosk they had at MONA ferry wharf. Big shout out to the salesperson for her passion. She did a great job explaining the whole process, the aroma, tastes etc. Ended up picking up a full bottle plus a little hip flask size one from there.
Distillery Stands the Test of Time

Lark Distillery ia on the Hobart Waterfront. It's a period property which remains as the distillery it was once was, it's full of character. These days, it's fitted out in a lounge style, but it's past life as a working distillery is obvious. The Lark Whisky is there for tasting, Share a few flights to see what you prefer.
