Want to support the environment whilst drinking World Class gin? Then Cooper King is the place to visit. Chris and Abbie’s commitment to the environment, supporting local businesses, and making gin that has won many awards is truly inspirational. They are passionate about their home grown business and Mark, our knowledgeable guide, held our attention throughout as he explained not only the processes of gin production but also the ethos of the company. Local artists designed the bottle labels and stone nameplate outside the premises, and much of the produce used in production is grown within a few miles. We visited on 7th August, and having completed the tour we moved on to the generous gin tasting, a lovely experience as we learned about the subtle differences between the botanicals. Who would have thought you could help protect the environment and support local businesses whilst drinking award winning gin. Well worth a trip.

We booked for the gin tour and what a great idea that was! A lovely little place with outdoor seating for that sneaky G&T before the tour (great menu of drinks both alcoholic and non-alcoholic). Lovely team of people who are super helpful and very passionate and enthusiastic about what they do. The tour was taken by Mark and he was very knowledgeable about the history of the distillery and it's ethos. We tried several of the gins after the tour, with absolutely no pressure to buy anything. Great gins, love the fact that they are carbon negative and you can take the bottles back to be refilled.Definitely worth a trip!

Today we had a distillery tour which was very informative, the story of Abbie & Chris touring Australia and Tasmainia falling in love with distilling then having a dream and seeing it through to the Distillery they should be very proud.If you think you know gin they have set a new level with the flavours and the newmake malt is absolutely lovely.Definitely recommend going for a visit
