Breckenridge distillery
In the Breckenridge Distillery, one of the highest located in the world, founder Bryan Nolt gives traditional whiskey production a special and regionally typical touch with a process he calls Dark Arts. Rum, vodka, whiskey and much more is produced at over 2,900 meters above sea level in the “highest distillery in the world”.
The Breckenridge Distillery is about an hour and a half drive from Denver. Located in the heart of the Breckenridge ski resort, visitors can take part in distillery tours or taste the selection of high-proof products on site.
History
Breckenridge’s colorful and rich history is shaped by the Colorado gold rush. The mountain town was founded in 1859 by a small group of gold prospectors. The gold-rich soils and the hope for wealth attracted more and more settlers to Breckenridge. Not everyone found what they were looking for, but the scenic beauty of the region was still convincing. Today Breckenridge has a population of just under 5,000.
This distillery was founded in 2007. The company’s whiskey was awarded the International Wine & Spirits Competition (IWSC) gold medal in 2011 and Best American Blend Whiskey in 2016 from the World Whiskies Awards.

Amazing Carolina!

Carolina was amazing! She let our group of 7 come in and do an amazing tasting. By the time we left we were able to try nearly everything because of our amazing service! We ended up leaving with two bottles also.
